Corona virus - important information
As you all know, the UK is currently under threat from Covid -19.
We would like to reassure our customers that as a studio, we are adhering as always to strict hygiene protocols and practices. In this industry, we are already geared up to deal with the threat of cross contamination and infection control and as such, we will be keeping the studio open as long as we can.
However, in order to make sure that we are being socially responsible, and not unnecessarily putting our customers or staff at risk we will be asking the following of our customers:
As from today (17th March), we ask that you attend your appointment alone and inform us if you have any reason to believe you may have come into contact with the virus, or someone who has. If you are symptomatic, please rebook your appointment.
If you are immune compromised or in close contact with elderly family, please rebook your appointment. This is for your own safety.
Please sanitise your hands upon entering the studio and throughout your visit. We will supply the sanitiser for this, but if you have your own, please bring it with you as we only have a limited amount.
Please bear in mind that, as is the nature of these situations, we may get new information from the government and need to change our plan of action. Please give us your understanding at this time – we will ensure that we keep our customers up to date, and should appointments need to be cancelled we will make sure to inform you as soon as we know.
As a studio, we will be making the following changes:
All deposits will be honoured and kept on our books in light of any cancellations due to the current risk of coronavirus. We do not believe in penalising our customers for circumstances beyond their control, and we want to encourage people to be
responsible with their attendance at the studio.
We have taken all folders / magazines away from the front area to avoid any cross contamination between customers.
All pens, card machines and crockery will be sanitised before and after use.
We will be moving to appointment only attendance as from the 21st March. This means that our door will be locked, and we will only let you in if you have a standing appointment. All other business will be conducted via email / telephone/facebook.
All consultations will be conducted via email/ video call /telephone as from the 17th March.
Our staff will be wearing face masks when they tattoo you, and you will be asked to also wear one which we will provide.
Most of all, we ask you to take care of yourselves and each other. Listen to your bodies and don’t ignore symptoms. Keep an eye on the people you live with and your neighbours. This won’t last forever, but the quickest way we can get to that point is to stop the spread of the infection. Isolation and control of your environment is the best way to do this.
We are also part of Ottery Community Volunteers and we are working closely with the community to provide assistance to the vulnerable. If you are self-isolating and need some help please contact the Ottery Help Scheme ( https://www.otteryhelpscheme.org.uk ) who will register your details. If you would like to help other people who are vulnerable then please join the Ottery Community Volunteers Facebook Group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/OSMCV/ ) and fill in the form.
If you have any questions or worries regarding your appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01404 758955 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for taking the time to read this information.
